About the band The Cal State University Bakersfield Community Concert Band consists of students, music educators, and community members from all walks of life. The bond that holds them together is the love of music, along with the dedication they share for their group and their director. If you happen to pass by the music building on campus between 7:00-9:30 P.M. on Tuesday evenings you will here the sound of the band working and polishing their songs for your enjoyment (and theirs). For many of the members in this group, this is a time for them to work towards a common goal and have fun doing it! |
